Recycling cardboad: Weaving Wicker basket tutorial

Offered here is a needle women weave baskets.



For baskets measuring 10 x 10 will need:
2 sheets of paper measuring 30 * 30, cardboard, ink, glue, scissors and a little patience. 





To begin cut out the "bottom" basket - a square of cardboard with sides of 10 cm

Of paper cut into strips 30 cm wide Dina 1,5 cm We will need 20 strips of paper for the sides of the basket and another streak will handle.

We now proceed to the actual weaving.
Take the strip, measure from the end of 10 cm square of adhesive spread it in the bottom left corner.Glue a strip of paper in this corner, stepping back from the edge of the strip, marked by 10 cm, as shown in the photo below.





Now perpendicular to the strip of glue at the same angle (too stuck on top of bars) another strip, previously receded 10 centimeters (see photo below).



The next strip is perpendicular to put too the very first, but not from above but from below, as shown in the photo.

And so alternate strips to the end. The strips should be laid not right next to each other, and with a space of about 2-3 mm. Here's what happens.



Now, in the same way, alternating, laid parallel to the strip. Here's how:



You can now paste this basket to "bottom". We turn over our future basket and bends the strip up, like so:



Again begin to weave. Glue the strip to one of the side strips (preferably inside out) and the Scourge.







Since we have the perimeter of the basket of 40 cm and the length of the strips only 30, will need to use a portion of the next strip. Also continue to the second and subsequent rows. At the end of this directory should wicker box.



Glue the handle. You can embellish a little. I decorate this basket did not, I liked it and so, adding only the braid on the handle.



However, you can do and that's a decorated basket.



And finally, some notes.

In principle, we can not do the "bottom", but then the cart will not be able to put anything more or less severe.
You can make a 2cm wide strips. and do not make the spaces between the strips (I did in the second version).
Weaving baskets at parties is desirable to stick horizontal stripes, at least once to each sidewall. To do this, ideally you can use tape to temporarily sticking.
